Privacy Policy - Cardify
This Privacy Policy explains how Cardify ("the App") handles information when you use the App. Cardify turns your photos and text into styled cards and carousels, and all of your projects stay on your device.
Information You Add
The App stores the projects you create: titles, body text, highlighted words, layout and style settings, and the photos you choose for your slides. Fonts you import are stored so they can be used in your projects. This information is used only to provide the App's editing, preview, and export features.
Photos
Cardify uses the system photo picker, so the App receives only the photos you select and does not get access to the rest of your photo library. Selected photos are copied into the App's private storage on your device. When you save a finished card, the App asks for add-only access to your photo library so it can save the image or video; it cannot read your library with this permission.
Local Storage
All projects, photos, imported fonts, and settings are stored on your device. Cardify does not require an account, does not use servers operated by the developer, and does not transmit your content to the developer or to third parties.
Export and Sharing
Export files are created only at your request. They leave the App only when you save them to Photos or choose a destination through the system share sheet, for example a messaging or social media app. Content shared this way is handled by the receiving service under its own privacy policy.
Purchases
Cardify PRO subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment details. The App checks your subscription status on your device using Apple StoreKit.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Cardify does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell personal data. Apple may provide crash or diagnostic information if you have chosen to share it with developers in your device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. Deleting a project also removes the photos copied for that project, and imported fonts can be removed from the font list. Deleting the App removes all of its data from your device. Images and videos you have already saved to Photos or shared stay where you saved them.
Children's Privacy
Cardify is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can review and assist.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
