Privacy Policy - Monefic
This Privacy Policy explains how Monefic ("the App") handles information when you use the App. Monefic is designed to keep your personal finance data under your control.
Information You Add
The App may store information you enter, including transactions, accounts, balances, budgets, goals, categories, tags, currencies, participants, notes, and profile details. This information is used only to provide the App's finance tracking, planning, statistics, import, and export features.
Local Storage
Your Monefic data is stored on your device by default. Monefic does not require an account with the developer, and the developer does not receive your financial records.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, the data groups you select are stored in your private iCloud database through Apple CloudKit and may be synchronized across devices signed in to your Apple Account. Apple processes this data under its own privacy policy and security practices. You can disable iCloud sync in the App's settings.
Import and Export
Files you choose to import are processed by the App to create or update your records. Export files are created only at your request and leave the App only when you choose a destination through the system sharing interface. You are responsible for protecting files after exporting them.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Monefic does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not sell personal data. Apple may provide crash or diagnostic information if you have chosen to share it with developers in your device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, remove the App, or erase it using Monefic's data controls. Data synchronized through iCloud may remain in your private iCloud database until it is removed there.
Children's Privacy
Monefic is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can review and assist.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
